Desigual presented its FW15-16 collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. In its signature bold fashion, the “La Vida Es Chula” (“Life Is Great”) brand, a global force right now, throws together 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s trends, mixing up a variety of materials like denim, leather, faux fur (I’m assuming it’s “faux”) and feathers. Hippie prints and ethnic elements happily coexist with couture patterns and every outfit is finished with its own embellished suede ankle boot. When it comes to color, neon blue and orange red make for striking accents.
What is there to say? Once again, Desigual nails the “total look”, its designers firmly in control of every detail, from a feather earring and the artisanal-quality bag to the faux-fur bootie.
