Merry Christmas the Leonese Way

The night of peace, suddenly so much more meaningful and truly desired right now in the world, is upon us again. Little words are required.

Here is an example of a Ramo Leonés: an ancient christian tradition of the area of what is now the province of León in northwestern Spain, a tradition that has very obvious pagan roots. It is lately experiencing a resurgence, in a number of Spanish regions, but in León especially, of course.
