The Night of the Spirits

Every year on the night of November 1st the residents of Tajueco, a little village in Soria, Spain, organize a singing procession that is supposed to ease the passage of the souls of the departed to their eternal dwelling place. Afterwards everyone enjoys sweet snacks and Moscatel wine.

Here are the photographs from this year’s vigil, courtesy of the blog by Angel Almazán, journalist, editor and writer from the region.
