Pedro García is a brand from Elda, Alicante. It is currently in the hands of the third generation of Garcías – the brother and sister duo Pedro and Mila. Pedro directs the design part and Mila is in charge of marketing. Both are very proud of their father, who, having inherited the business from his father, had a bold vision for the company’s future, which he passed on to his children. As a result, while the brand feels right at home on the international design scene, it remains 100% Made in Spain.

The design is bold, with a sense of minimalistic unity that only comes from years and years of experience. Like in many Spanish shoes, texture is an important element of style. It brings out an earthy, rough-hewn element that adds to the overall sense of relaxed elegance. Only the choicest leathers are used, with vachetta leather and cork being the signature materials. The color palette is predominantly dark or natural leather colors, with some pastels and an occasional flash of jewel tones. Embellishments, when used, include studs and Swarovski crystals.

    1. Yes, I’m myself sort of taking a close second look at this brand. They certainly know their shoes. I have a great respect for these family enterprises. They are great success stories and they drive the economy by making everything in Spain. Thanks for reading!
