Shoe of (last) Week: Las Bailarinas Shoes

LasBailLEOPARDO_ROJO

Last week I did not post a “Shoe of the Week“, and not for lack of candidates, obviously. I’ve got so many, in fact, I have a hard time choosing.

I think that I spent a little too much time crying my eyes out because of not having been accepted in the graduate school program of my choice.

Oh, well. Water (literally) under the bridge now.

So, back to these delicious roaring red leopard print ballerinas by Las Bailarinas shoes (see post on the company here). These are made of suede, with textile fabric lining, string loop and in-tone ribbon binding. And a rubber sole, for good traction.

I’m always in search of a perfect ballerina, which doesn’t exist, of course. Animal prints are everywhere and many look really good, even though I personally don’t usually go for the animal kingdom vibe. But these ballerinas really blew me off my computer chair! Such an original concept: a red leopard. A total fantasy creature. I would wear them in a second. They made me want to roar like Katy Perry‘s song by the same name. The ballerinas are very reasonably priced, available online (not in my size, unfortunately), but in 38 and 38.5 European size. They can be ordered directly from the Las Bailarinas site, and they deliver worldwide, which is often not the case with many Spanish shoes manufacturers or distributors. If you encounter any problems, just contact their customer service, they are very helpful.

So, now let’s hear you roar!!!
